Personal Philosophy on Teaching:
In my classroom I seek to give my students the tools to grow as life-long learners. Most adults remember their early childhood teachers, and often their memory of this teacher has either made a strong positive impression fueling their desire for school or sadly, a negative impression hindering their learning. I enjoy the joys and challenges that this age group presents and pray daily for the wisdom and patience to lay the strongest foundation for learning possible, both spiritually and academically.

Favorite Bible Passage:
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Personal Interests:
I love anything outdoors, especially near the water, the top four are camping, fishing, hiking, swimming. Dancing is another one of my favorite active hobbies. During quiet time at home, I like to read, sew, garden, and play card or board games.
